Wendy Davis is hosting a “Ped, Pedal, & Polka” rally this Sunday at the Shelterhouse in Trinity Park to celebrate our cycling and running trails. (Of course, since she’s running for office, it’s also a fundraiser, but you don’t HAVE to donate.)
Grady Spears will be out grilling hamburgers starting at 5PM until 7, and Wendy will lead the willing on a 2 mile fun run starting at 4:30.
How many times do you get the chance to go for a jog then enjoy a burger and a beer with a political candidate?
Note to Brimer campaign: I’d be happy to post about events you’re holding as well, please just email me.

OK, perhaps you’ve heard there’s going to be this PrairieFest shindig at Tandy Hills Park on Saturday. The West and Clear posse will be out in full force to support this wonderful park, and to help spread a little more beauty in the Panther City, we’re sponsoring a Haiku Contest at our booth.
It was either that or have Pete Wann wrestle a bobcat, and this just seemed more earth friendly.

This week, we discuss the opening of the Scat Jazz Lounge, Brave Combo will be appearing in the McDavid Studio (most attractive MySpace page EVAR!) on December 21st for the Holiday Dance Party.
Bernie continues to be an advocate for making Fort Worth a more livable city, this time by appearing before the City Council to question a proposed pipeline across Trinity Park and to submit a great idea for protecting the park from future development.
We also discuss various other sordid things, and give a fair amount of grief to each other. We hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for listening!
