Bernie Scheffler was born and raised in Houston, but calls Fort Worth his adopted hometown. He is co-owner of Panther City Bicycles, voted Fort Worth’s best bike shop 3 years running, on Magnolia Ave. He lives on Fort Worth’s historic South Side with his lovely wife Victoria and their two dogs: Jake, a cranky deaf Catahoula, and Francis, an overly crotch-affectionate Great Dane.

When he’s not at work or running for public office, Bernie enjoys trains, riding his bicycle ridiculously long distances, listening/dancing to polka, Stormcloud IPA, and eating tacos al pastor. He does not particularly care for driving cars, brussels sprouts, or reality TV.
