Terri Moore, a two-time candidate for Tarrant County District Attorney, is the top candidate for the now-vacant job of U.S. Attorney for North Texas, according to Todd Hill at Burnt Orange Report. Current U.S. attorney for the North Texas region Fort Worth native Richard Roper announced this week that he was stepping down to take a position as a senior partner at Thompson & Knight.
