A Year Older, A Year Wiser

One year ago, we anxiously pressed the publish button on our first post, not knowing where this would take us, never imagining where it did, but knowing that there was a side of the Fort Worth experience we wanted to share. Since then, we’ve written countless articles, published hundreds of pictures, recorded tens of podcasts, and pissed off untold numbers of people.
All this while holding down “day jobs.”
No blog/forum/podcast/new media experiment can be successful without the help of its community, and W&C is no exception. Thanks so much to all of you for sending in tips, comments, and photos. Interactivity is what makes this place special, and we’re honored to share our experiences with you.
Thank you for telling your friends, families, and complete strangers about us. Our readership has grown exponentially since we launched, and that’s all thanks to you, our loyal fans.
We have no idea what’s in store for us over the next year, but we are all excited to be sharing it with you!

You guys will be happy to know that:
“As of August 2007, Thai police officers who have committed minor transgressions such as showing up late or parking in the wrong place will be forced to wear Hello Kitty armbands for several days as penance.”
Huh? Well, I was just making fun at your cake!

Congrats on the one year — I think my own blog must be more than a year old, but haven’t had time to make it really fly like yours. I share with you the idea of trying to get people interested in what is going on in the area — though I consider the whole metroplex my beat!
