You Oughta Be in Pictures

by Steve Smith

Fort Worth independent filmmaker and renown vegan chef James M. Johnston is putting out a call for extras for a short film he is making.

“I’m shooting a short film next Sunday and I’m looking for extras to be in the scene,” James said. “I’d really like to populate the background with real people.”

James needs 20+ Extras needed for bar scene, any race and gender, ages 21-40. The scene takes place in a neighborhood bar where local artist, musicians, hipsters, and working class folks all hang out together. Background Talent appearance should reflect this.

Date and Time: Sunday, September 7, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Southside Fort Worth

Snacks provided. This is a low-budget affair so unfortunately there is no monetary compensation but James promises a fun and easy shoot. If interested please email your pic (if available) and info no later than noon on Friday.

James Johnston? Does this one involve dead little girls or cocaine strippers? Because I can’t do anything my pastor wouldn’t approve of. But then I always wanted to be a moviestar.
