Gas Drilling Task Force Public Meeting Tonight

Another public meeting of the Gas Drilling Task Force happens tonight at City Hall starting at 6:30. Last time around, only Carter Burdette and Joel Burns showed up from the City Council. Anyone think turnout will be a little greater this time around?

    Best moment was the general laughter when a speaker noted the Mayor had said the city couldn’t afford a secretary to take Task Force minutes. I mean, we’re all gettin’ rich off The Shale and we can’t afford a secretary?
