What’s the cut*off?

by Steve Smith

Imagine my surprise when I was listening to KEXP out of Seattle the other day and they played Fort Worth’s own the cut*off’s “Luggage for Light Years” off of their new album, Packaged Up for Beginners. Way to represent for the 817, guys.

The cut*off is Kyle Barnhill - Vocals and Guitar, Jayson Hamilton - Guitar and Vocals, Jake Webster - Drums, Chad Sones - Bass, Kevin Aldridge - Keyboard and Vocals. You can check them out here in the Fort on Aug. 31 at 2 p.m. at Lola’s Sunday Picnic, or again at Lola’s on Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. with Dallas’ most awesome Salim Nourallah & The Noise.
