FWWeekly’s Jeff Prince Lights Up Former S-Ter and Current Chesapeaker Jack Douglas
by Steve SmithIt’s not too often that I read something that makes me go, “Wow.” But this was it.
Jeff Prince of FWWeekly writes: “Jack Douglas Jr., another reputable newsman who jumped ship, has quickly chugged the entire pitcher of Chesapeake Kool-Aid. Douglas, a former Fort Worth Star-Telegram reporter, said goodbye to journalism and hello to ass-kissing sell-out based on his Chesapeake blog that was up for awhile but seems to have suddenly vanished as of today. … As a former Star-Telegram employee myself, I’ve crossed paths with Douglas and read his articles for years and always thought him a good reporter. In fact, his dad was a reporter and the Douglas name is something of journalistic institution in these parts. But Junior’s latest endeavor is an embarrassment to veteran journalists everywhere.”
