Welcome to the New West and Clear!

We hope you like it. You can tell us what you think today at our booth at Prairie Fest. If you are really sly, you can give us a piece of your mind in the form of a Haiku and win the contest.

Here are just a few of the new website features:

The search box at the top of the middle column will Google-search-a-rize Westandclear.com plus all the Fort Worth-centric sites that we link to at the bottom of the middle column. It’s like Google, but for Fort Worth only.

Now you can rate the comments on the posts. If you likey–give it a thumbs up. No likey–give the comment a thumbs down and craft a clever, civilized rebuttal.

You have 15 minutes to correct those typos in your comment, or straight up change your rhetorical tack

We are expected improved performance, especially in the way of faster load times.

Ok. It’s really late. I go to bed now. Thanks for reading our site. The past six months have been really exciting and we are quite happy to have neighbors like y’all that care so much about our city.

LOVE that it loads faster. Uncertain on the redesign as I always like to withhold judgement until I’ve come to a new design at least three times as I get used to a certain way. It seems fine though.

Only thing I miss right away is knowing the number of comments under a title. I don’t want to have to scroll down to see how many comments exist.

@Chewy - I don’t know if it was there last night, but on the main page to the right of the headline is a number next to a comic strip “talk bubble.” That’ll tell you how many comments the post has, and if you click the number, it’ll take you directly to the comments.

Thanks Pete(s). I wasn’t sure what that icon was for and on a Saturday night after a few Rhar’s it wasn’t jumping out at the time.
