From The “Didn’t See That One Coming” Department:

The Southland Conference champion UT Arlington Men’s Basketball team has been selected for the NCAA championship tournament. They face the Conference USA champions and #1 seed in their qualifying bracket, Memphis, this Friday in Little Rock.

This will be the Mavs’ first ever NCAA tournament. Good luck, guys!
