Do You Want Streetcars in Fort Worth?

by Bernie

Here at West and Clear, we’ve been outspoken proponents of rail transit. It has been especially encouraging to the groundswell of citizen support for streetcar or ultralight rail transit in the city. The time for rail transit is now, and we think city leaders will build it if citizens make it clear they want it.

Our friend Andy Nold has started a yahoo message group for those interested in rail advocacy. So, if you want to get involved bringing a streetcar circulator to central Fort Worth, join the group and begin discussing ways to make it so. We can do this!

it may be years in the making, but I’m glad city officials at least have it on the table.
