Open Casting Call For Local Film - “St. Nick”

by Pete Wann

I just got word from local filmmaker Adam Donaghey that he’ll be holding an open casting call for David Lowrey’s new feature “St. Nick.” Adam discusses the casting call on his blog, but you can also read about it on the Texas Film Commission’s website. (I love how Rick Perry manages to get his name on every page; instead of “Texas Governor’s Office,” every page is titled “Texas Governor Rick Perry…” like he doesn’t want you to forget who’s granting you all this blessed information and state sponsored artsy goodness.)

Contact Adam to arrange a meeting and send a resume and head shots, or I suppose you could show up at the Lone Star Film Society offices on Saturday to audition, although the casting call doesn’t list any hours.

  1. Awesome! Thanks for posting this. I’m actually producing this here project and almost all of it will be filmed right here in our great city.
