I mentioned in my last post that we were having lunch randomly with David Newsom, and he was gracious enough to let me annoy him for about 5 minutes and record a short interview. He lays out his picks for must see films at the festival, be sure to give it a listen!

    Yo, Pete…

    Thanks for the blog time. So far, so good for Lone Star International Film Festival..but I hope your fair city embraces this event and makes it it’s own..there’s great potential for something transformative in this union if Ft. Worth will get behind it.

    Anyway, good seeing you out there every day and night, showing up at screenings, the panels, the parties. If there were a thousand more like you, Lone Star Film Festival would kick Sundance’s ass in about 5 years. Aim High.
